Three bits of news, and two free short films for you to watch!

Three bits of news. First of all, should any of you be in the Isle of Wight tomorrow, my short film, "The Collector," is playing in the IOW Film Festival, our second in two months after the London East End Film Fest in July. Secondly, my first short, "Sugar" (which I wrote for my Screenwriting Masters at Bournemouth Uni) is now available as a free download via Vodo.net. I met the creator of Vodo at the LEEFF; he has effectively created a new distribution network, using Torrent sites like The Pirate Bay, where people donate money if they like the films they see. He has had some good success stories with it so if you have a project over 20 minutes, have a look. Here's the Sugar link - http://vo.do/sugar And finally, since I'm here, a short script of mine, Rooftops & Gumdrops, which was filmed by two talented young students last year, made it to the final of the Skillet International Summer Film Drama competition. You can watch it here: http://www.filmskillet.com/films/276
