By the way, the main shooting locations of my latest short film "Coming Back Sunny" are Kawagoe City (Saitama Prefecture; called Ko-Edo) and Ikebukuro (Tokyo).
Kawagoe City, which vividly preserves the old streets of hundreds of years ago, and Ikebukuro one of Tokyo's most prosperous downtowns, are both essential to this story.
This short film is a love story, but the main theme is “Destiny”. Destiny transcends space and time, and I wanted to cut out this matter vividly through shooting places, before writing the script in earnest, I decided to shoot almost in Kawagoe and Ikebukuro.
