This is my all-time favorite film. The Mummy: The Night of Counting the Years is one of the greatest films in the history of Egyptian and world cinema. It was directed by the brilliant filmmaker Shadi Abdel Salam in 1969 and is considered a masterpiece that reflects Egyptian identity while addressing issues of heritage and cultural awareness.
