Financing / Crowdfunding : Does This Work? by Lena Claybon

Although I'm a big fan of Stage 32 in terms of sharing ideas, advice and experiences in the `biz', I'm just curious if this forum works in raising money for projects. It seems to me we're all in the same boat in trying to get funding for our own projects so I was just wondering if this has been effective for anyone. If anyone has had success raising money here, please post and let us know.
