My Name is Andre Weavind and I'm a 1st Assistant Director for Feature Films and TV Series. I am based in South Africa and have been in the Film Industry for 30 years or so.
I also have some Production Management Experience and Producing experience.
I would like to explore working more abroad and am looking for an agent that is willing to take me onto their books. I'm not DGA but I am very interested in becoming DGA and have all the necessary requirements.
I am looking to emmigrate in the next year or two, with my wife who is also a filmmaker ( Prod Designer / Supervising Art Director ), either to Europe or North America. If anyone would be interested in helping me with this please will you get in contact.
