Hi, I'm an aspiring graduate in screenwriting. I write across a range of genres and my current project in development as a feature screenplay and teleplay is called BLACK HAND INCORPORATED. It's about four disillusioned young men who form a contract murder organisation on solid business principles in 1960s New York. Their primary market is corporate America at senior executive level. Into the 1970s they become the executioners of choice for companies and wealthy individuals with liabilities they cannot deal with conventionally. In between they keep up with classic and then-contemporary cinema. But their murderous success of course comes with a vast moral price and sooner or later both a crusading journalist and their own consciences begin to hunt them down...
I'm very keen to make contact with aspiring directors and producers who are keen to make their mark in features and/or television. I think the concept has a lot of potential both thematically and aesthetically as something with both a strong story to tell and different in tone in the proliferating DTV continuum.
I'd describe BLACK HAND INCORPORATED pitch-wise as a cross between the JOHN WICK films and sitcom THE BIG BANG THEORY - with the characters talking movies instead of comics and science fiction and computer games.
...With best morbid regards!
