Introduce Yourself : Enjoying the ride by Gary Bullock

Thanks to Abraham Lincoln, I became a professional actor more years ago than I care to acknowledge. As a result of a one-man show I wrote and played as the 16th President, I got my first gig as a SAG actor. So here I am, those same years later, with about 15 of them spent in Los Angeles, working in film, TV and theatre. I started writing while in LA. My pet screenplays are ELSEWHEN, a sci-fi romance, first-place winner of the Appalachian Film Festival Screenplay Contest 2011, and RIDGE RUNNER, a true story of the Civil War. Neither have been produced. I also self-published a book version of ELSEWHEN, available on Amazon. I find I am in love with my characters, so I am in the midst of a sequel to ELSEWHEN. My work may never rise to the top, but so what? I am enjoying the process. My lovely mate is a very talented actor herself, Mil Nicholson. Together we produce audiobooks here in our quiet home in the mountains. My foremost dream, of course, would be to see either of my screenplays produced (with a cameo part, of course).
