Your Stage : The good americans by Rob Tobin

"The Good Americans" is a stageplay and screenplay I wrote, about two mixed-race lesbians on January 6, 2021, trying to come to grips with what their country has become... or perhaps always was." It's controversial, edgy, and I like to think it's "Hamilton" but for today's America. I have the completed script and lyrics and would love to discuss this passion project with anyone who might be able to help bring it to the stage and/or screen. I'm a produced, award-winning screenwriter, published novelist, and former motion picture development exec, I've written more than 40 scripts, both on spec and on assignment, but "The Good Americans" is the one I want to hang my hat on.
