Hey everybody!
I was having trouble feeling inspired to keep writing screenplays, but I got it into my head that if I was beholden to an audience that I'd keep turning in pages. So, I started a personal project where I write a brand new screenplay while opening the process to the internet.
It works like this: I write roughly 10 pages a week, post them to my site www.letswritethismovie.com, give the internet some time to read the pages and give feedback, then my partner and I discuss the notes on camera over the weekend.
So far the project has been effective. I wanted to make sure I could sustain the pace before reaching out to this community, but now that we're 11 episodes in, I think I'm committed. So, if you'd like to take a break from your own projects, I'd love it if you could share your wisdom with mine. I like to think that this is a fun way to keep everyone's creative juices flowing. So, if you can stop by and engage, then your feedback is appreciated.
