Open Road Film Festival in collaboration with Valley Place Arts Collaborative is hosting their 3rd film festival for shorts (any film of any genre under 20 minutes). Cash prizes for local DMV filmmakers.
Winner: $2,000
2nd place: $1,000
3rd Place: $500
So, if you have a short film that is burning a hole in your pocket or have always wanted to make one, the time is now. The first day of the festival is dedicated to films that speak to our present moment and the second day is for shorts both local and not. We welcome both national and international submissions.
Regular deadline is 3/30 and late deadline is 4/19.
