Screenwriting : Introduction by Stuart Welch

Hello Stage 32: I don't know the best way to introduce myself. I have worked as a Instructor for a German software company for 20 years. After a stroke and a weak economy trimmed back my schedule to nil, I returned to writing. I completed a novel, wrote several short stories, created some flash fiction and published in a Anthology Series called Writer Anarchy. After reading some of my work, I was approached by an EP in Hollywood to create an Eco-Drama Screenplay. After finishing the screenplay, I co-wrote another screenplay with my spouse. I had my screenplay read and reviewed by an English Producer of Stranded and The Traveller as well as by a film actor who has appeared in numerous film productions. Both gave thumbs up on my screenplay. My spouse and creative partner suffered a series of spinal deterioration and surgeries, until I decided to lay down my keyboard until we sorted through her health and our growing financial dilemma. With her final operation scheduled, she had recommended that I return to writing. I expect to finish my final tweaks to my novel and screenplay as soon as I return to writing. I look forward to the relationships I develop here and will be glad to add to the discussion when I am available.
