Screenwriting Tip – What’s in the Package?

If you’re looking for a way to catch and hold a reader’s attention, put an object in your story (a package, folder, shoebox, footlocker, bag, etc.), and don’t reveal what’s inside until later in the script. And keep bringing attention to the object throughout the script. You could even build an entire story around what’s in a package, folder, etc.
