My name is Don Shaw, I am not a screenwriter but a retired Police Officer. Forty-eight years working in almost all aspects of law enforcement has provided me with a wide array of true police cases. At my age, I have no ambition to become famous in Hollywood but simply feel some of my experiences should be made available to the public. My first attempt is a screenplay (The Veil of Piety) where three women expose a sexual predator cloaked in the veil of piety that is provided to medical doctors. The covert method he utilized, left his victims with no support from their families or government authorities until one clue gave them credence. If the shower scene in Psycho affected your psyche while showering in a motel, (The Veil of Piety) will give you pause when you or your loved one is subjected to a female pelvic examination by a physician.
I have posted my screenplay here on Stage 32. I attempted to follow a screenwriting format that was provided online, how well I succeeded I really do not know. Would welcome any feedback from those in the screenwriting field.
