THIS JUST IN! Bowling for dollar is trying to find me. I'm not sure if it's a STRIKE or a SPARE. In either case, I just received a request for CHILDHOOD ISSUES from Manager Jennifer Au from the Caliber Media. This was my second written pitch submission on Stage 32. And it's now my second script request thanks to Stage 32. CHILDHOOD ISSUES is a romantic comedy about a charismatic radio personality who must confront the traumatic issues of his bizarre childhood upbringing when his overbearing fiancée demands they get married in a church. There's always been a thing in the culture about people who survive Catholic school, so it seems like this could be a fresh arena for a family/romantic comedy. I see Vince Vaughn teaming up with, Owen Wilson, in this rousting comedy written along the lines of SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK and RUNAWAY BRIDE. I have one more script I'm pitching tomorrow. It's my first stab at writing a TV-Pilot. I'm rolling the dice for a THIRD STRIKE. Here's a preview. When a vintage camera is accidentally found at a flea market, long buried secrets about the JFK assassination stand to be reborn. United with her conspiracy-minded boyfriend, a Chinese TV reporter races the clock to bring the ultimate truth to light, even as forces of the Illuminati hunt both of them down. Introducing Wright and Wong. Adventure and Mystery has a new name - KODAK MOMENT. I see Aaron Paul as the JIM WRIGHT. And Julia Ling as NATALIE WONG. Jim is mad about Natalie and often sings: "If loving you is WONG. I don't want to be WRIGHT." Stay tune for more details. John A
