Michelle Frey

I come from the video game world working as an audio director, sound designer, voice actor, music wrangler.
I am on the board for Flux/ MediaNet and on the Pacific Rim programming committee for CineVic- Society of Independent Filmmakers.

Over many years I've worked in theatre and on independent film projects, also television and radio. I've worn many hats from directing to grip and electric work and many things in between. I feel quite fortunate to have had exposure and been involved in many of the crafts that make a production happen. And most importantly, being able to work with all the amazing people who come together to make it all happen — their insights, ideas, perspectives, history, talent.

I've made a few short experimental films which have shown in festivals. I've written for theatre and radio. I've finished my second draft of a screenplay for a TV pilot limited series. Now I am working on the 'bible'. The story is based on an original script I wrote for a 72 hour film challenge I directed a few years ago. Now that was a learning experience!
