Henry Blackshear

I have always been hooked to telling stories about the characters that I’ve create.  Today at age 45 that urge has not stopped. For the past eighteen years I have written fantasy stories that were inspired by the people I worked with.

My first script called CHIBOT was based on my assistance with a boy bond to a wheelchair. We together made up a story about a robot who works for him, yet wants to go out on his own and become a hero of the city.  Since creating that story I enjoyed the way I write telling the story from the point of view of the hero. 
 Many of the stories I’ve written have been given much praise. Presently two of my scripts are being filmed by Corey Scales genius of the project  “The Becoming”.

My associate Rod Belle and I have began the project Misfits P.R.I.M.E. since 2009 and shot several promos to promote it. Working again with students during this time has inspired me yet to write this script that surely captures the essence of teen life.
