I have been a musician since age 3 when I began private piano lessons at my own insistence. My parents thought it was bizarre but having come from heavily musical families on both sides, they went along with it. I didn't stop for over 11 years. Even though my formal lessons were in classical music, I never really got the bug to pursue that seriously. My sights were moving towards creating my own music, which I started doing in my late teens. I've dabbled in a dozen different styles, and even gotten quite good at a few. I led my own progressive rock band in my mid twenties, with me as the composer. I then spent lots of time on electro. I even took jazz piano lessons for a couple of years with Berklee College faculty. It became inevitable that I would start merging the various styles together as I progressed.
From 1997 through 2011, I was self employed as a music producer so I spent a huge amount of time engineering, arranging music, mixing and directing studio operations in recording studios in Boston, including the B room at Renaissance Recording Company. I spent a lot of time in Hollywood music editor Stephen Lotwis's studio when he lived in Boston.
My current ambitions are to release my music singles going forward and find placements for some of my pieces in visual media productions. I can also compose mockups and finished electronic renditions in many styles. My own style is eclectic hybrid electronic, and mainly instrumental ...though it may or may not SOUND "electronic" depending on the piece. I guess my music will speak for itself as it is released. Thanks for reading this!
