About Mark

Mark is a professional actor, who believes in the human connection and that in stillness and listening there is truth. Always looking for ways to collaborate with other creative professionals. He has been active recently, writing and producing a short film, acting in feature and short films as well as commercials and industrials. His leading short, Down, was just released and he has two feature films coming out in 2020, Treasure Lies and Song of the Tree Frogs. From the time he was in kindergarten and stepped into the lead role in the class play at the last minute, Mark was drawn to theater and fell in love with telling stories and entertaining people. Growing up, he had been introduced to musical film and that spilled over into theater, with his first lead in the musical Ants'hillvania. It was not an uncommon site in his home for someone to break out into song for no apparent reason. This freedom to perform followed him through college, where he and a small band of troubadours setup the school's only theatrical club, staging performances of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Mouse That Roared, The Mousetrap, and an original Shakespearean edit - More Will Than You Can Shake a Spear At. After apprenticing at the Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore, TX, Mark went on to do several strong performances in community theater productions in New Jersey (a revue of Chekov's comedies) and northern Virginia (Company, Carousel).

Taking a break from theater, Mark and his wife focused on finishing their degrees and starting a family. The hiatus was broken when he discovered the world of film and television. From that point on, he was all in on using these media to pursue his passions in telling meaningful stories and helping entertain audiences. He see his life as a working out of his faith, sharing the hope and peace he's been shown in the person of Jesus Christ.
