The documentary: father | Kwon Oh

This documentary shows the funeral of a man, Jaechul Oh, who died at the age of 90, had suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Right before he passed away, he went to visit his father's grave to pay his respect. A sunny beautiful afternoon in fall in Korea, on the way to the cemetery, he seemed like he is desperately trying to bring back his fractured memories. But soon he closed his eyes on the cold bed in the hospital in August 2015, his 8 children responded to their father's death in each one of their own way. 이 다큐멘터리는 향년 90세의 오재철의 장례식을 보여준다. 그는 세상을 떠나기 5년전부터 치매로 가족들의 얼굴을 전혀 기억하지 못했다. 그가 죽기전 마지막으로 병상에서 일어나 성묘를 가던길에 그는 익숙한 시골논길, 흙냄새에 조금씩 기억이 돌아오는 듯 했다. 그런 그가 결국 2015년 8월, 90세의 나이로 죽자 그의 8남매들의 각자 다른 방식으로 그들의 아버지의 죽음에 대답한다. 특히 평생을 아버지의 기대에 못미치는 인생을 살았다고 자책하는 장남의 울부짐을 떠나간 아버지는 듣지를 못한다.
