The Sharing Project: movie trailer

The Sharing Project is a 29 minute non-fiction film, philosophical journey, personal narrative, and nature film, all intertwined together to explore the meaning of sharing. It’s a topic that filmmaker Joel Tauber and his young son Zeke find incredibly complex and confusing. So, Tauber seeks clarity from experts in different fields; including philosopher Christian Miller, homeless center director Derwin L. Montgomery, and psychologist Jessica Sommerville. Joel and Zeke then turn to the site of the forgotten commune, Happville (1905-1908); hoping that the landscape that had once inspired the Utopia Seekers, will also inspire them – reminding them that we’re all connected to the Land, and therefore each other; and that sharing is an ideal worth striving for.
