Martin Nguyen etched his name into the history books when he captured the ONE Featherweight World Title to become Vietnam’s first ever mixed martial arts World Champion. However, the one belt was not enough to quell the hunger of the surging Vietnamese-Aussie megastar. Stepping up in weight to face Filipino icon Eduard Folayang, “The Situ-Asian” knocked out the former ONE Lightweight World Champion on his home turf to clinch a second belt in back-to-back bouts. Having relinquished the lightweight strap, Nguyen will now look to cement his legacy in ONE by taking out every contender in the featherweight division, starting with Mongolian legend Narantungalag Jadambaa at ONE: ROOTS OF HONOR in Manila.
