About the meetup
This will be our sixth meetup and we are growing. There are several things happening in the group and everyone is so busy. There are a couple more films forming in the group and the writers are putting together several more. Looks like we are going to be busy till the end of the year. R.B. Botto mentioned us on his free webinar last weekend and it is on Stage 32 education tab if you missed it. I also pulled down about 4 minutes of the part mentioning us and posted it on my facebook page. If you are not on my face book, I am the only Hilton Moore on there I'm pretty sure. Friend me..... We will be taking a picture to be presented at the Anniversary party for Stage 32 in Los Angeles next month. We are invited to attend if someone is going out there. Warner Bros pictures have called a couple of us back to Austin on the 10th and 18th to do some more shooting on "The Leftovers" and we will be finishing up on "The Front" when we get back and beginning to cast for another War film in the next few weeks. If you want to get busy....this is the right time. See you at the meeting.
About the group
The first 'Stage 32' actors meet-up group serving Dallas and Ft.Worth actors and crew professionals in the area. Meet-ups with our group will help to find opportunities for our members and further the film industry in and outside of the Metroplex. We will maintain a listing of available talent in our group to support project casting and any emergency last minute film crews. Because how many times have we been on a shoot and ran out of background actors or no-shows? We will also try to share the wisdom of our histories on the set. The group may end up being the go to place for directors and casting agents to cast their projects. Please join us and let's see how big we can become together. We can also be a great opportunity to try that new play you've written or that screenplay which is begging to be produced. DFWART is starting, and if you are looking for a group such as this, please contact us. We will decide what would be the best times and places to have our meets when we get a few interested members. There are 8 to 10 other persons showing up to the meet which are not listed on the attendees list, and usually more unannounced persons show up. We will be taking pictures for the 4th anniversary of Stage 32 for display in L.A. at the party. If you would like to attend, contact the main office for Stage 32 for details. Please RSVP if you are attending the meetup on Weds. It helps the Mambo to set up our tables.
Hey everyone, since this is the 4th anniversary of Stage 32, they are having a contest for the most imaginative photo of your Stage 32 group. A few of us are coming in costume(since it's close to Halloween anyway) and you can also if you wish. Maybe a wardrobe worn in a show you did? We'll take a few shots and share some information on up-coming events. See you there.
