About Michael

Hi I'm Mike, and I'm going to do my best not to bore you to tears! I live and breath music and film. I'm what you call "obsessed". It's my greatest passion in life and there's nothing like it. From the moment I first learned "Breakdown" by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers on the bass, I've been hooked.

I've been recording and playing music for about 15 years. I've recorded and played with a multitude of different genres and bands. From Jazz to Metal, to Electronic, its all about capturing a feeling and performance. That's what I do best, capturing a feeling and mood that highlights whatever medium I'm working in.

I wear many hats in the music world. (no fedoras!) I compose songs and music for films, and all sorts of other projects. I do my best to provide the right mood and sound for whatever project I'm a part of. That's the most important aspect of composing, serving what's going and enhancing the scene without being a distraction. I also received a degree in recording engineering from Recording Connections. I spent 2 years working as an intern/student at Clear Lake Audio as well. You can also hear some of my music with my band Shmoe.
