TESTIMONIALS:

Matt Pavolaitis
Emmy Winning Composer/Senior Audio Engineer at Accenture Song
"Munk is one of the most talented, driven, and persistent creatives in the music industry. As a Boston native myself, he always blown me away with his versatility of performing live, producing famous artists, growing his fan base to composing for a few of the largest publishers in the world. He's truly one of a kind and I feel blessed to be able to connect with him on future projects!”

Chris Georgenes
Award Winning Director, "Book!"
“Munk is a master. He composed a beautiful score for my animated short "Book!". Working with Munk is almost too easy. He simply gets it! It’s as if he’s inside your head and knows instinctively what you are looking for and what is best for the project at hand. He is approachable, relaxed, and a leader. He makes me better for just working alongside him.

Jeff Miller
Product Owner, Bose
“Munk is a seasoned pro who always shows up with professionalism, creativity, and technical know-how. As a content product owner for Bose, I had very specific criteria for generative music for a therapeutic audio product. The constraints for this project were unusual, and required a thoughtful approach to sample based delivery. Munk’s experience in game soundtracks - along with his ability to use design thinking to consider the needs of the listeners - made him a great fit. The work was spot-on, and Munk was an easy collaborator. I can only give my wholehearted recommendation for Munk as a composer and producer. He’s versatile, he knows technology, and he understands how to connect to audiences.”

  • Pam & Tommy

    Pam & Tommy (2022)
Music by Munk Duane Composer Munk Duane's song "I Am Severed" was featured in the first episode of the new Hulu series "Pam & Tommy". The song's placement on the show happened so fast, Munk was unaware until informed by a fan from Munich, Germany who had seen the premier, before Munk's publishing Heavy Hitters Music even had a chance to notify him directly of the song's inclusion. "I Am Severed" was an outtake from Munk's second full-length album "Severed", which is out of print. Munk explains, "Severed was a musical lifetime ago. I was in a bad place going through a divorce and my music at that time was reflective of a lot of anger... not who I am today whatsoever. I put that chapter of my life behind me a long time ago and had the release pulled out of retail and off streaming platforms." The songs from that period did, however, stay in the music library they were licensed to, and many years later, this one has re-emerged on the new Hulu show. "I admit it was a kick in the pants to hear this song again after so long. It was almost like listening to someone else." "Pam & Tommy" chronicles the marriage between actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, played by Lily James and Sebastian Stan, during the period their unauthorized sex tape was made public. Also staring Seth Rogen and Nick Offerman, "Pam & Tommy" is now streaming on Hulu. Watch it.
