SYNOPSIS:

A young investment banker, MATT “CHAMP” MITCHELL is in line for a promotion in his private firm. However, his old fashioned boss LARRY MOORE refuses to make him a junior partner until he settles down and gets married. Larry’s firm is conservative and caters to “old money” clients. Image is everything to Larry. While Champ is driven to succeed in business, he is equally driven to stay in charge of his own personal life. Champ lives footloose and fancy-free. He believes in living in the now and that there is no sense investing time and commitment into romantic relationships as EVERYTHING IS TEMPORARY. Since Champ is unwilling to change his ways, Larry sets up an office challenge for the rest of his brokers to compete for the junior partner position. Champ’s taken a step back. He not only has to out produce his peers, he’ll still have to end his bachelorhood to gain the promotion. Champ’s primary competition is BRITTANY BIVENS an unscrupulous businesswoman who will do anything to get to the top. While she comes close, she can’t match Champ’s production numbers. That won’t stop her. She’ll marry her way to the top by roping in Larry’s son, JUNIOR. While focused on work, Champ’s attention is gained by CHRISTY FELIDAE a beautiful restaurateur. He turns the tables on Brittany and causes her to lose her fiancé and her shot at the promotion in one fell swoop. She who lives by the sword, dies by the sword. Champ turns the tables on Larry as well when he uses his business skills and cunning to take over the firm. Champ enjoys the best of both worlds. He’s where he wants to be in his business life and his personal life with Christy. They share the same beliefs and values. They don’t need to be married to be happy. Neither of them needs to be married to succeed in business. While EVERYTHING IS TEMPORARY, including Champ and Christy’s relationship, it’s a relationship worth investing in. It’s a relationship worth holding on to.
