SYNOPSIS:
A comedy, "Politics in the Park" takes place in a trailer park in Coloma, Wisconsin. Rodric Rosberg, an uptight, New York based real estate broker, ashamed of his father's living conditions, will do just about anything to get his dad Fritz out of the park. Upon learning that Fritz has cancer and his fiancee is sleeping with his business partner, he decides to spend some time at Camperland to look after him. Not a fan of Camperland or the misfit neighbors, Rodric tries to convince Fritz to move to the city with him, but Fritz refuses. So, when Paul, the alzheimer's stricken park owner decides to sell it, Rodric quickly contacts a Texas developer named Sam who has plans on turning Camperland into a super Walmart. But after spending time with the parks offbeat, but likeable residents and falling for local paramedic, Jolie, Rodric tries to back out of the deal. Problem is...Sam won't budge and proceeds to hand out eviction notices to the residents. Desperate, they each plot to stop the deal the only way they know how...by murdering him. As it turns out, their attempts are unsuccessful, but when Sam winds up dead anyway, all fingers point to Rodric...and now he must prove his innocence or spend his life in jail.
