Patty Hunter

First off, I am a TV Producer/Hostess of my TV Show, "Patty's Page," also, acted in couple of plays and in movies... we are now in our 10th Season with well over 534 episodes under our belt .... also, I had helped create over 9 events for TRACK, Three Rivers Art Center For Kids... worked as a moderator on several panels, for two of these events..

I am TRACK's Artistic Director working for Mr. Terrence (Terry) Doran, who is the founder of TRACK (Three Rivers Art Center for Kids)... we are bringing the awareness of child abuse/neglect/homeless to Fort Wayne, Indiana and beyond... we use the ARTS to communicate with our community creating diversity and culture plus with the help of other organizations, to create a "Safe Haven" here for our children. We are working with SCAN, YMCA, Center For Non-Violence, etc.

In 2011, I won $200 for first place in a Poetry and Short-Story Contest in Fort Wayne, Indiana... Fresh-Eye Promotions held the contest and I won.. below is the write-up:

2011 First place winner: Patty Hunter out of Ft. Wayne, IN with "Oh, people of the world, what shall we do with the mentally ill? May GOD bless them all!" is the winner of $200.00 for her poem, and so graciously donated $50.00 which was matched by Fresh-Eye dollar for dollar to Lutherans for Life with honor for what they contribute to society. Thank you Patty for helping to remind us of those who get forgotten from time to time.

Oh, people of the world,
what shall we do with the mentally ill?
May GOD bless them all
It is not their fault that they are ill.
It is the brain that's not functioning.

My own experience in this case is real.

I am bi-polar and haven't been healed.
Is it the food that we possibly eat?
The places that we live in? What?

Why is there so much pain out there?

Disease means "ill at ease" of the body and soul.
It is indeed a fallen world that we live in.
We must gather together in order to win.

We as humans must stop the prejudice,
which is aimed towards the ill of mind.

Please help the ones who cannot help themselves!

Be with them when they fall.
Together we need each other all in all.

It doesn't mean the mentally are useless.
We to can contribute to mankind.

May God bless the meek and the small,
for without him, there wouldn't be any life at all.

In 2018, won a Philo Festival of Media Arts Award for the Best Magazine Program
In 2019, won a Philo Festival of Media Arts Award for TRACK's RiverDrums Event.
