About Phil

Phil Newsom is a NYC-based film producer. His feature film credits include April Flowers (starring Celina Jade & Keir Dullea); I Can, I Will, I Did, (starring Mike Faist & Selenis Leyva), Alina (directed by Ben Barenholtz), Central Park Dark (starring Tom Sizemore), Dog Camp: A Dogumentary, and The Monument. Short films include Kidnapping Carl, (official selection of the 2014 Manhattan Film Festival), Simple Mind, and Kid Sister. Currently in development are Nessun Dorma (No One Sleeps), Lucky Accident Crash (writer/director Christopher Peditto), Bellevue: A Love Story (writer/director Michael Wolfe), Strange Melody (writer/director S.M.Kerstein). He recently founded Giant Hunter Media which specializes in edgy engaging films that can be shot on micro budgets.
