Anything Goes : Writing Music by Nathaniel Lee

Hey everyone! I'm trying to start up a rock band, and I'm wondering if my lyrics are exactly appropriate. I've changed my style a lot lately, I used to write about so many little things that I knew others could relate to but never had strong emotion in them. These lyrics I'm writing have really strong emotions mostly from anger from the past that I still have and are still going on. Mostly nothing good to say in the songs besides standing up for how I feel, is this really a good way to go? I'm looking for others opinions, so far my buddies are loving the lyrics they're good, some of the best ones I've ever written. I can really poor my soul into them when I sing them. I don't know any other thoughts on the subject?
