I just joined/found out about Stage 32, and it seems like a very cool place. I'm happy to be here! I'm a fledgling TV sitcom writer, so any advice anybody wants to give is appreciated! My MAJOR problem is in getting my spec pilot script read. It's VERY "edgy," and I did have an award-winning sitcom writer read it, and he gave me two referrals to showrunners. Unfortunately, neither one has gotten back to me, so I have to move on. So, if anybody has any suggestions, I'm all ears (okay, eyes is probably more appropriate). Thanks in advance, Parker

Welcome, Parker! You should ABSOLUTELY check out the Happy Writers. They offer classes on screenwriting, coverage services, and give you the opportunity to pitch to some of the top executives in the industry right now. If you go up to your menu bar, the far right has a button for Happy Writers. Click on that and get ready to have your life changed!
Welcome Parker! Keep pitching your project, and keep working on the next one. Your talent will find its home if you couple it with industry and tenacity. And of course, be sure and keep us updated about your successes!
Nice to meet you Parker - welcome!
Keep pitching it. Vince Gilligan was turned down by every major TV studio for Breaking Bad - until finally AMC took a chance. If you haven't watched "The Writers Room" episodes you should. Lots of good info there. (oh and keep writing new stuff too)

Hi Parker, welcome to Stage 32! Getting people to read your work is indeed tough, I certainly feel your pain. Please feel free to tap me whenever you need someone to read your work and give you feedback. We're all in this thing together. :-)
