I nervously add my introduction to the rather illustrious roster here. I've been a singer and traveled around the world as that, writing a few songs along the way. I recently discovered an old lost manuscript of mine for a stage musical which I have rewritten and now orchestrated. I have no money to join all the paid opportunties here but hoping to learn by osmosis. All the best to everyone here. Chris

Welcome to the community Chris! There are a ton of free ways to learn and grow here. First of all, I recommend really getting involved in the lounge discussions. It's a great place to learn about your craft and interact with other creatives. We also have a JOBS section, where you can post paid AND non paid positions, so you can maybe get something going with your project there. Whatever you choose, best wishes to you!

Thank you for all your encouraging welcomes, Malcolm, Jami, Shannon, Debbie and Brandi. Yes, Jami, I have looked at Kickstarter and even constructed an appeal there but I learned that there is a whole other science to crowdfunding, and crowdfunding consultancy is a growth industry. It's like the storekeepers who sold shovels to the goldminers. They made money but very few goldminers did. I will indeed be looking at the jobs section, Shannon, and posting info about my show there. I already posted it on my own profile as you may imagine I would.
