Hi guys! My name is Michael Hillberg, I'm 19 years old and I have just moved back to London after studying 6 months with the Australian Film and Television Academy in Sydney (I'm originally Swedish but moved to London last year to study at LAMDA). I've only been here for two weeks but already signed with a great agent as well as landing my first professional job in the UK. Since I'm just back in London now I felt introducing myself here would be a great way to connect to working professionals here in London. No projects for me. Not for a while at least. I do my stand up and my improv now and then. If someone wants to cast me in a movie as angry Russian mobster, I'll take it, but that's pretty much all I can do. :)

Michael.. by any chance did you encounter Mike Jones while down under? It's my opinion Mike's knowledge about next generation entertainment and writing is far beyond anyone else.

Michael.. If you're pursuing writing you owe it to yourself to follow Mike via his blog. In my opinion it's critical to embrace where media is moving which means small screen, immersion multi platform rather than single platform . Mike's comprehensive experience in this area is second to none. He works with Portal Entertainment there in the UK also which you would do well to investigate.

Dawn.. You're welcome though the tip was meant for Michael, lol. I noticed you're a singer actor rather than writer. What I love about Mikes concept of the writing trade is that he feels it important for a writer to view their craft as 'narrative creators' rather than screen, TV or playwright. This way they can be open to writing immersion projects though they need to also understand how.
Yes Jonathan, I'm mainly an actor and singer but although I don't write myself I am very interested in writing and writers ways of working as the script is one of the most important tools an actor has in his work. Thank you for the tip, I will look into the production company as well as Mike personally!
