I've been wanting to collaborate on a screenplay in order to advance my own work beyond my own limitations, but wouldn't know who to ask or even if I should ask. I would like to here from people who've collaborated on scripts and those who haven't, but are thinking about it.

A good way to see about collaboration is to put the concept or script that you're working on in a discussion and see what feedback you get. Then ask which of the writers would help you develope it more. I wrote in a discussion group about looking for help with a horror script and got feedback and someone to collab with.
