Twelve Bells To Freedom

Hello Stage 32 members, my name is Laszlo Suhajda, my family and I attended St. Mary's of Victory Church of Hungary in St. Louis yesterday for the anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, October 23, 1956 to be precise, Dr. David Borgmeyer from St. Louis University was the speaker for this special tribute and the room was filled with St. Louis University students and fellow Hungarians who lived through the dramatic moments of 1956. Dr. Borgmeyer and I had met at an awards Banquet for the USA Hungarian Ambassador, Mr. Joe Adarjon, former CEO of Emerson Electric, and he gave the international Perspective of the Hungarian Revolution and how it effected the world, it was very impressive. After the presentation we talked and he congratulated me on the project of "Twelve Bells To Freedom" and said, "Your story will capture the hearts of human beings around the world." That was the best compliment I have received and the tribute goes out to my Parents Iren and Lajos Suhajda and the strong family support, Grandparents and strangers, that sustained the journey to freedom and defined the words Human Being. The question I have for all of you, Have you experienced a moment when someone stepped up and helped you without you asking for help? It is very humbling to know good people are out there who care about others. What are your thoughts?
