My good friend and renowned filmmaker Chris Brown has done something very special, spending 18 months with high school juniors and seniors, trying to capture their struggles and expectations before the great leap into the adult world. But this is NOT a documentary! He's casted these kids based on their ability and their personal stories, then directed them as characters with those personal experiences as the starting point. It's the most amazingly real thing I've seen, these kids free to express themselves because it's not 'really' them. Everyone who's been 17 will relate, and those at that age will benefit from these compelling, dramatic stories. It's all been shot; Chris just needs to get it through post and put it out to the world. Anything above and beyond the ask will be used for free showings at high schools around the US.
