Your Stage : Social Media by Vanessa Schell

Social Media

Anyone who thinks utilizing social media is a trivial waste of time, doesn't realize the potential they're missing. Though, being on Stage 32 is social media. I'm not an expert or nor would ever try to claim to be, but I was skeptical for a long time till I began being more active on Twitter. The conversations alone I've had with people in the industry who feel the same I do creatively and passionately, is worth it. Not to mention the potential connections. I'm not big on Facebook because I consider my account personal, but everything else is fair game. It's creating an audience, a sorely needed once since I plan to crowdfund my projects. But even if that's not your aim, having someone there, who knows what how hard you work, is supporting you, inspiring, giving the critique you need and deserve, that's priceless. And social media is free. Seriously, get on it. By the way, hit me up with your Twitter accounts. Always looking for peeps to follow. https://twitter.com/cesabesa
