Hi all, I joined Stage 32 back in 2012, but never really took the time to dig further than the occasional blog post or invite--until this past week (and yes, I can be a tad slow) Holy cow! What a fabulous community. If I could, I'd find a venue large enough and put everyone into it so we could all meet face-to-face and enjoy scintillating conversation and witty repartee. Can you tell I work by myself? Yeah. Writer here [waves] I live in Washington State near Seattle, and write action/adventure novels and thrillers full-time. It's the best, most frustratingly fantastic career I've ever had and I've had several. Frustrating because I'll never have time to write all the stories inside my head, and fantastic because I continue to learn about writing and story and will never, ever exhaust the well. Fantastic, too, because I've met and continue to meet so many interesting, amazing people. Did I gush? Sorry. I'm just glad to be here :-) Have a great evening. DV

Welcome to the community DV! I grew up in Seattle, nice to see more people from the NW. If you're ever interested in screenwriting, look up John Jacobsen in Seattle. He teaches at freehold and runs The Film School. Very smart guy when it comes to storytelling.

Morning! I live in Bath in the UK, but I have very fond memories of visiting Washington State when I was 19. And I still love Seattle music. ;)
Thanks, Alyssa & Tony. And thank you for the recommendation, Joe. I'll def. look him up when/if I decide to go that route.
