One suggestion in this mainstream article is extremely cautionary for the film industry " Failing to Give To Get ". There is a pay -it-forward mentality in film that implies you " get in" by giving rather than stay connected by paying back, and it is the most abused power imbalance there is. Be cautious to whom you give, as the business is top-heavy with takers who merely keep taking.
