Composing : Time to get busy! by Scott Goldberg

I know many of you out here can relate to this. After a long hiatus from any and all work, due to medical reasons in my case anyway, I decided to get back into the business of writing, recording and playing songs for a living. In my case, I had everything I needed in my own home; a studio, plenty of gear, and enough friends to come in an pound out anything I couldn't do myself. I stopped it all when I had to, and now that I am returning, it's all or nothing. In the business of creating, we take many steps to broaden and refine our perspectives on how art should look, sound and feel. It becomes a whole new entity that; hopefully, takes us into a new place of creativity and success. I know that each day I try harder, the more I see come from it. I know I'm ready to take on some new projects, and as I write this, I'm putting off work I could be doing, just to share a thought or two about what I know I go through. I hope some of you can relate to this, and if so, I welcome you in my wold, because I know your inspiration and drive will be unmatched.
