At some point I'll pay for first rate headshots, but I've been doing my own. I find that it helps to update my headshot and have a variety of photos. I do a new headshot typically when something changes, like lose weight or my hairstyle changes. But it isn't easy. It's far better to go to a headshot photographer than even for a headshot photographer like myself to do their own shots.
