Introduce Yourself : Introduction from a Binghamton, NY resident by Scott Danzig

Hey all! I wrote/produced/directed a few self-funded short films in NYC, and they look great, but I've sinced moved to Binghamton, NY. I'm not sure there's much filmmaking around these parts, but I'm here for 5 years or so, so if anyone nearby needs a helping hand, no charge, let me know :) But I'm curious what advice you fellow filmmakers might give me. I'm going my second screening of my short film "Sky Paradise" in NYC in January, and I might have an opportunity to mingle/network, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about it. The Philip K. Dick Sci Fi Film Festival in NY is a bit small, and although I've love to collaborate and find a way to direct a feature that I don't actually pay for, I'm not sure of the best route to take, other than networking. . Which is why I'm up for helping people for free! Maybe I'll team up with a like-minded screenwriter as a first step? :) Anyway, glad I found Stage 32!
