A quick introduction of myself: A screenwriter who stepped away from the business for a few years, and am returning to it. The goal for the year is the placement of two screenplays and the securing of an agent and/or manager to this purpose.

You're definitely in the right place to get those goals accomplished! Make sure to utilize the Happy Writers - there are screenwriting classes and labs, coverage services, and online pitching opportunities where you choose which executive you pitch to. Seems right up your alley :)
