Hello Stage32ers, I am a director/producer looking to make a short film this year. As such, I am in search of a short film script. Ideally, this is what I am looking for: Something in the 10-17 page range A story that feels real and can be shot in a real/gritty manner but which has a quirky, unique quality. Think Spike Jonze. His films present a unique reality in a way that just feels normal to the characters in the story. We don't dwell on the strangeness that may exist. It simply is. A sci-fi quality would be great. Not space ships and aliens but something a little more subtle. A 40-something female protagonist would be ideal as I have a name actress I'd like to feature.
