Introduce Yourself : Good day to everyone! by Rebecca Silk

I am new to Stage32 but an active talent in the entertainment world. I am in the age range teens-30's; mixed ethnicity, and from Garland, Tx. I began as a backup dancer/choreographer for local artists and dance groups then moved up into the Modeling industry. Posing fun with photo shoots, Runway shows, music videos and more. I was told by my motivating friends that I should get into Acting and I ventured into this new world of new knowledge to learn in achieving. I went into auditions and got speaking roles in featured Horror/Scary films in Dallas; then saved money to go on a bit of a road trip to see if I really wanted to be an Actress. I drove through Louisiana ; in Shreveport I worked on the set of Salem as a stand-in for "Tituba" Ashley Maedkwe and featured extra. Kept driving to end up in Baton Rouge where I was supposed to be an extra but then got asked to be a stand-in / Double for Alexis Knapp "Stacey" in Pitch Perfect 2. I was having fun spending long hours on set; networking with talented people in the production crew as well as the Actors I met.. I finally ended up in New Orleans to work on the set of Jurrasic World; to end this summary ..I enjoyed the hard work that goes into creating a film or TV show if that means being behind the scenes or in front of the camera. I am now studying different works to be a better Actor and learning new set of skills in MMA, Boxing, being Bilingual in Spanish, achieved a Motorcycle license and looking to get my CDL. You never know ; learning new skills might end up in a role I never imagined. :) I am currently an actress in a speaking role in a film by Jouet Productions - still in production and I have upcoming roles that I will announce when ready. I temporarily live in Dallas, Texas and looking to move to Los Angeles the summer of 2015 but I might take a trip back to New Orleans and Atlanta, GA to check out the work in those cities.
