Distribution : Using Cannes time wisely by Mike Took

Guys, I am off to Cannes again this year and have a spare day in the schedule, what are the networking opportunities, either in the Palais or elsewhere? Is it worth getting involved in anything at the UK pavilion? Or is there another UK presence there? I am really interested in pitching to producers, as I have a current project optioned and am looking to project 2 or 3. On previous visits I have found that once a day or so in the Palais has been spent, there isn't really much else to do (apart from crashing parties!) and I'm kicking my heels a bit. I've done the hotels too... Anyone got any suggestions, anyone else in a similar position?
