I love love love what I do. Since 1984 when I turned 16 I found my calling. I became a licensed hair and makeup artist. I eat breath and drink hair and makeup including special effects and body painting. I have been in the entertainment industry since 2002 and also taught fashion and effects makeup for almost 7 years. My favorite is genre to work is film. Its the atmosphere. Second I guess you could say would be music videos cause I love the sultry sexy looks I give to the women for the music video genre. I guess the next falls fashion and final theater. I am a very down to earth friendly woman that takes directions well and loves being part of a team. Antonio Much appreciated the admiration and compliment. I love it cause these children when I walk in the school come up and hug me. They write me letters saying how I changed their lives and they feel like they have a future and even see school or the idea of learning to like learning important. See I ask them who in here likes school and those that dont raise their hands I say just imagine if you dont learn to like learning you will never then learn what you like to do and one day be stuck at a job cause you need to pay the bills and feel like you feel today for the rest of your life. I say you see me as a hair and makeup artist and wonder why do I need math. Well when a producer asks me how much I need for supplies I cant just guess. I need to know how many applications per a bottle vs how many people i am working on and the length of time cause my things dont come from any regular store. and of course how much it all will cost. Reading well I have to not only be able to pronounce the words but I have to have comprehension cause I have to create the characters. I cant run to the director or AD asking silly questions on something I should have read and need to share the ideas of the look the director wants to see happen. I cant spell over there ova der cause they dont have time to explain things over and over and from my writing could make it seem as though Im an idiot if I 8br3v8 and talk txt. LOL So yea I love it cause Im not paid to do it but my soul is lifted higher than any amount of money could ever pay to know I have made sense and lifted lives. So I really do appreciate your compliment. If we all acted as each others keeper we can create a beautiful world.
