Introduce Yourself : From New York to Hawaii: Photograher Turned Actor/Filmmaker by Brad Starks

I was an early adopter here in the website and I'm always happy to see it grow and expand. I got started as a fashion photographer but always loved filmmaking and the production process. After a chance meeting with a top casting director in NYC during an open mic night at a comedy club, I got cast in several TV spots. The commercials lead to short film roles that helped me secure representation in NYC and LA. I'm currently in Maui Hawaii working as UPM on an action adventure film. I also have a small role as Actor. I manage two Facebook pages that promotes filmmaking on the island of Maui and I've developed strong relationships with the Maui county film office and the brand new 45,000 square foot sound stage Hawaii Film Studios.
