Introduce Yourself : Sandy Vlandir - Director, Actor and Writer by Sandy Vlandir

Good day to all, I'm Sandy Nokuthula Vlandir. I've completed a degree at Rhodes University in South Africa. I studied a Bachelors of Arts, I majored in Psychology, Ethnomusicology and Drama (specializing in Directing, Acting, Choreography, Physical Theatre and Physical and Visual theatre). I'm new to the industry but ain't shy to take risks whilst honing my skill in the industry. I'm currently based in South Africa - Grahamastown. I've received the Rhodes Scholarship within my Second year of university. In my works, I've directed and choreographed a number of works such as "Tshepang: the Third Testament" by Lara Foot-Newton, "Heartbreak Medea" written by Mike van Graan and "The Dumb Waiter" written by Harold Pinter. Work I've choreographed is "God's Awakening" and "living in Sacrifice". I'm looking to directing new works next year namely "Memoirs of a Broken Heart" and "Assassin" (Check out the Stage32 -loglines).
