Introduce Yourself : Hello Stage 32! by John Cowdell

Hello everyone. My name is John Cowdell and I am a writer and aspiring filmmaker from England. I have been writing and making short films for over ten years as well as creating videos for the internet. During my time at college, where I studied Media Production, I made my first short film with a fellow student. The short film City Road reached the finals of a local competition called "Shots In The Dark" in 2000 and was shown at the Broadway cinema in my hometown Nottingham. More recently I have been reviewing films and producing video content for Squabblebox.co.uk, where I am known as "Doctor Schlock". My main passion is filmmaking and I hope to write and direct feature films in the near future. I have a number of short scripts that are ready for production and I am hoping to see get made.
