So I guess I'm saying hi! Been making films, mostly documentaries for some 30+ years. Just getting my latest "baby" out in the world . It's called The Winding Stream - The Carters, the Cashes and the Course of Country Music. A feature length doc on the first family of country music. Premiered last year at SXSW. Finalizing some relationships and hope to have it out in theaters, on demand, DVD, etc. this fall. It's www.thewindingstream.com to learn more.
Well done, Beth. SXSW - impressive! Looks like you have good momentum. I'm new to the game by comparison. I'd love to connect.
Dear Beth, Fascinating project. I lived in Hendersonville, Tenn. for 13 years, worked with some of the best, yes, even performing drums on June Carter Cash's albums. I have a work entitled, I AM COUNTRY MUSIC, a narrative poem about the brief history of country music which I feel would fit perfectly with your project. My wife, Dorayne, aka Lydia Ann Cummings has also created a very colorful coloring book with that title. The work is earthy and true country. I can also share a CD with you. Pease let me know if you're interested. The best to you. Carmine Lombardo email: cdpenbrush@aol.com.
Hi Carmine! Love to see the CD. I'll send you my details via email.
Hey Carmine. I'm sorry I haven't been in touch. Thank you for your calls and the packet of material. My husband's been sick and I've also been traveling some so it's been a tricky time. I'm away this week and the following week. Can we talk the week of the 20th?
